I have great news to announce!
After 2 years of hard work I can finally shout it from the rooftops (or in my case from my window at 6 high). I HAVE GET MY PROPEDEUSE! #partymode π
The last mile
Yesterday my group had the final presentation of our interaction technology project, with which we had to build an installation for a museum for the target group of 8-12 years.

Above picture became the installation after weeks of research, prototyping, programming and building. With this installation we want to teach children more about the gods and the heroglyphics.
The story
The story goes that Ra is god of the sun and every day he goes with his boat through the underworld, here he meets Apophis and goes to battle. With our installation you help Ra in this fight and you fight together to keep the sun up. You do this by making the right combination between letter and heroglyph. If you give the right answer the sun goes up, with a wrong answer the sun will also go down faster. You can play this either on your own or with 2, where you then have to work together.
Hardware
In terms of hardware, we have built in many great things. For example, we use both a raspberry pi and an arduino nano, there are a lot of dupont cables in it, we use inductive touch sensors (these detect both metal and a finger) and leds. As you can see there is also a lot of 3D printing, in total it certainly contains 25 hours of print work.
Holiday!
Anyway, this school year is over! I can now go on a carefree vacation and start working at the “main phase” from September. And I’m going to do something really fun in first week of September, but you’ll hear that by then.
